The brand
napēa is a Munich-based, female-founded brand. Born from the idea of not compromising on sleep quality or hygiene — even when traveling. napēa stands for thoughtful solutions made from premium silk, rethinking comfort and hygiene on the go: clean in design, reduced to the essentials.
Why was Napea founded?
The idea behind napēa started with a simple personal experience. After switching to silk at home, I didn’t want to miss that same comfort while traveling. Yet this standard is often missing on the go. That’s why napēa combines the benefits of silk with a thoughtful solution for travel. But it’s about more than just comfort. When you travel, you sleep on pillows used by many others. How often they’re changed or what they’re cleaned with is often unclear. napēa creates a defined layer between your skin and unfamiliar textiles. For more consistency, more control and a familiar feeling when you sleep — wherever you are.

What makes napēa different from a traditional silk pillowcase?
Classic silk pillowcases are tailored to a specific pillow size. napēa is a universally fitting silk pillowcase. It adapts to common pillow sizes, eliminating the need for additional sizes. Furthermore, the focus is not only on comfort but also on the idea of a personal, defined surface between skin and foreign textiles.
Does napēa fit every pillow?
NAPĒA adapts to all common pillow formats and shapes. Supported sizes are: 40 × 60 cm, 40 × 80 cm, 45 × 65 cm, 50 × 60 cm, 50 × 70 cm, 50 × 75 cm, 50 × 80 cm and 60 × 60 cm.
Thanks to its flexible design, the cover adapts perfectly to various pillows and stays in place all night long.

What material is napēa made of?
NAPĒA is made of high-quality 6A 22 momme mulberry silk. The silk is OEKO-TEX® certified and free from harmful substances.
What do 6A and 22 Momme mean?
6A is the highest quality grade for mulberry silk. 22 momme describes the density of the silk fabric. Higher momme values indicate more substance, durability, and a particularly luxurious feel.
What does OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 mean?
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is an internationally recognized testing and certification system for textiles. It is administered by the independent OEKO-TEX® Association, a network of specialized research and testing institutes in Europe and Japan with worldwide representatives.
Textiles bearing this certification have undergone comprehensive testing for harmful substances. This means that all components of the product, from the fabric to seams and accessories, have been examined for substances that are hazardous to health.
Products with the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 label are considered safe for direct skin contact and meet strict requirements for safety and skin compatibility.
This testing is particularly relevant for textiles that are in direct contact with skin and hair for many hours.
Why Silk?
Silk is smooth, breathable, and especially gentle on the skin. It reduces friction and can help minimize hair breakage and skin irritations.

Does the cover slip off during sleep?
No, the concealed elastic design ensures a secure fit on standard pillows. Additionally, napēa features two integrated silk ribbons for optional fastening. These can be tied individually and offer additional stability. However, with standard pillows, additional fastening is usually not necessary.
ORDERS
How can I place an order?
Select your product, add it to your cart, and proceed to checkout. There, you'll enter your shipping information and choose your preferred payment method. After completing your order, you'll receive an order confirmation by email.
Can I change my order after it's been placed?
Changes are only possible as long as your order has not yet been shipped. Please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order. Once shipped, adjustments are unfortunately no longer possible.
Which payment methods are accepted?
We offer you a selection of secure and convenient payment options:

Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes, after placing your order, you will automatically receive an order confirmation email with all the important details about your order.

Which countries do you ship to?
We currently deliver within Germany. Expansion to other countries is already planned.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery usually takes place within 1–3 business days.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs within Germany are €4.90. For orders over €100, shipping is free.
How can I track my order?
As soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link. You can use this to track the current status of your delivery at any time.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
How can I return my items?
You can return your order within 14 days of receipt.
Please contact us in advance by email at kontakt@napea.de. You will then receive all further information about the return.
Please return the item to us unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.

How long do I have to return an item?
We hope you are satisfied with your product. However, if it doesn't fit, you can return your order within 14 days.
When will my return be refunded?
Once your return has been received and inspected, the refund will be processed within 14 business days using the original payment method.

How do I wash napēa correctly?
napēa is made from high-quality mulberry silk and should be handled with care.
• Hand wash or gentle cycle at a low temperature

What's the best way to store nappy cream on the go?
napēa comes with a matching storage bag, included with your order. It keeps your pillowcase clean, protected and compact while traveling.
